Not too long ago, website design and hosting was an intimidating thing for most people. At the very least, you needed to learn what to some were complicated programs like Front Page or Adobe Dream Weaver, but to really be able to do much site design you had to have more than just a cursory knowledge of Hyper Text Markup Language (HTML). For one reason or another, many internet powers-that-be decided that it was in their best interests to help the less technical consumer be able to easily navigate web site design and hosting. Hosting companies like I-Power now offer web site builder programs to all those whose sites they host and the program is very easy to use with free web site templates and help databases. The neat thing about many of these free programs is that they have a built in HTML converter so you can type in what you want on a page of your site in an edit screen similar to a word processor and it will be converted to HTML. There are even some companies now  offering free hosting so people can play around with designing a simple site with free web site templates. If you have been intimidated about building a site, give one of these programs a try. You may be pleasantly surprised.
